When you start shopping for a new or used Honda HR-V, don’t forget to check the safety ratings. Vehicles with a lot of safety tech might cost you a few thousand more, but spending that could save your life if you get into a wreck.
How safe is the 2020 Honda HR-V?
The 2020 Honda HR-V received a 5-Star overall safety rating from the NHTSA and the highest score of “Good” by the IIHS. Combine that with a 4.63-star Owner and 4.6 Expert Review Ratings from Vehicle History for a winning combination.
The safety a vehicle offers is much more than the results of a crash test. Other factors, such as the type of headlights, the standard or available safety options, and other factors influence the vehicle’s safety as well. Let’s explore everything you need to know.
