The 2000 Honda Civic comes exclusively with front-wheel drive. Honda doesnt offer any additional upgrades or add-ons that let customers get front wheel drive or four wheel drive on the 2000 Civic either. In a front-wheel drive car, the engine and the transmission systems are placed right over the front two wheels. This allows the car to get better traction and control in tight spaces. Furthermore, vehicles equipped with front-wheel drive also provide marginal gains in mileage, as the general weight and drivetrain is less than a four wheel drive or rear wheel drive vehicle. For these reasons, front-wheel drives are very popular for city use.

The 2000 Honda Civic is a front-wheel drive vehicle. It doesn't come with all wheel or 4WD.
