Luckily, the 2007 Ford Mustang has a timing chain, rather than a timing belt. This is good, because chains will last the lifetime of the car, rather than needing to be changed out like belts. If theres a serious problem, chains sometimes have to be replaced, but if You take care of Your car and manage to not get into serious accidents, it shouldnt be an issue. If Youre wondering what You can do to keep it running well, You can stay on top of oil checks and changes. Oil should be changed once every 6 months or 5,000 miles - whichever comes first. Be sure to check and change the filter as needed, too. You need to check the health of the oil and the oil levels once a month, as well.

The 2007 Ford Mustang has a timing chain. The timing chain does not require interval maintenance.
