Resetting the TPMS light on a 2012 Ford Fusion can be a little confusing, but it's a fairly simple process. Just try to follow along. First, put the key into the ignition, and press the brake pedal one time. Next, turn the key to the RUN, and then OFF position three times, ending on RUN. Then, press and release the brake pedal once more. Finally, turn the key to OFF, and then RUN to OFF three more times. You should hear the car beep. You're now in training mode. You'll then need to use a TPMS diagnostic tool to train each individual tire, in the order listed on Your dashboard. If You don't have one, they can sometimes be rented. Unfortunately, it's a required piece of equipment to complete the reset.

To reset the tpms on the 2012 ford fusion make sure the tire pressure is correct, then turn on the vehicle. Now hit the reset button that is to the right of the steering wheel and wait ten minutes. In some cases you may need to hold the button down till the light flashes. If the sensor is not working correctly then you may have tires with incorrect pressure, and the car can get bad performance.
