The 2018 Kia Soul offered a 1.6L turbocharged i-4 engine and also a 2.0L 4Cylinder engine. If You have a 1.6L model You will need to use either 5W-30 or 5W-40 motor oil. No matter which one You use it will need to be a synthetic or synthetic blend. If You have the 2.0L motor You're going to need to run on 5W-20 or 5W-30 synthetic. Kia recommends usinG5W-20 as it is the preferred oil but 5W-30 will be fine. The 1.6L will have a motor oil capacity of 4.8 US quarts while the 2.0L comes in at 4.2 US quarts. Both of these numbers are when the filter is included.
