To replace the 2008 Ford F-250 heater core You will need to have a jack, jacks stands, a socket set, wrenches, pliers, a drain pan, and rags. Raise the vehicle upon the jacks and then drain the coolant. You may reuse this coolant if it is new, but most likely You will need to replace it. Once You have done so You will want to locate the heater core. It is held in place by four bolts, which can be removed easily enough. When You lift it up a little bit You will need to remove some of the wires holding it in place. Once that is done You will be able to pull it out, and then put the new one in.
