If the Land Rover is having issues with the power steering then it could be a bad pump. This will lead to a lack of fluid in the wheel, making it very hard to turn. You may also have a line leak, which will do the same thing. Finally, You may just be low on fluid and need to do a fluid change. To change the power steering fluid You will need to first locate the container, which will be under the hood near the window. It will be a clear plastic container. Using a pump You will want to extract all of the fluid from the container. Once the fluid gets low You will want to turn the steering wheel, all the way to one side, then all the way to the other. This will cause the fluid in the wheel to drain into the container, remove this as well. Once the container is dry You can go ahead and fill it to the full line, but not over. It will take a little bit for the wheel to loosen up, so try driving for about 20 minutes to make sure it worked.
