The Bluetooth system in the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a standard system that lets you connect your smartphone or any other BT enabled device to your vehicle's sound system. This lets you play music, Make calls or even read out text messages using your voice and the steering wheel controls. There haven't been any common problems that owners have complained about but some of the issues you may have with any BT system are the following. The first and most common is going to be not having the device set to pair or having BT turned off. The next most common is going to be poor connection caused by a low battery, or some form of obstruction blocking the signal. The last thing to Make sure of is that your device is a current model since the older BT protocols used a much weaker antenna which caused lots of signal interruptions.

Intermittent Bluetooth issue July 12, 2022
Hi! Did the dealership ever fix this for you? I know it's been a few years... My 2012 Outlander also has a weird Bluetooth/USB issue. It went out shortly after purchase in 2018 and stayed out. Miraculously, it popped back on before a road trip in 2019 but again went out since.

Some potential bluetooth problems with the 2018 mitsubishi outlander sport are due to signal interruptions, connection failures and volume issues.
