The oil types on the 2005 Kia Sedona are 5W-20 or 5W-30 for all temperatures. If You live in an area that is above -4F, then You would use 10W-30. If You want to know the capacity of this vehicle, it iS4.5 US quarts with a filter. It is always recommended to change the oil filter so that the oils in the old filter don't mix with the new oil. If the oils were to mix it would shorten the life of the oil and potentially cause damage to the engine. I would advise to check the oil level once a week with regular use and top off if it is low.
