For the 2013 Nissan Rogue with the Continuous variable transmission it has a transmission fluid capacity of 9 quarts for a total fill. The only type of fluid that should be used in the vehicle is Nissan CVT Fluid NS-2. The fluid is a type of hydraulic fluid that helps with things such as gear shifts, to cool the transmission and to lubricate moving parts. The fluid should be changed every 90,000 miles or so because it doesn't last forever. The cost of the fluid is pretty expensive at around $15 to $20 per quart depending on where You get it from. The cost to change the transmission fluid is anywhere from $110 to $130 in labor costs and extra for parts.
