All model years of the Subaru Crosstrek (froM2013 until present) require 31 lb-ft of torque upon replacing the oil drain plug. It's also important to always install a new washer on the drain bolt, as it utilizes a "crush washer" system (like most oil drain plugs). Failure to replace the washer can result in a loose drainage system, and potential oil leaks. If You don't have access to a reliable torque instrument, many drivers report that the "finger tight, and then quarter turn" method works well to hit right around 31 lb-ft. Of course, this isn't as reliable because "finger tight" might mean something different to You than to me, but it's at least a starting point. It's also worth noting that You won't want to overtighten, because doing so can break Your drain plug or harm Your oil pan.
