Where is the 2011 ford fiesta fuel filter located?

The fuel filter in a 2011 Ford Fiesta can be found in the fuel sending unit which is located in the top of the gas tank. The filter is integrated into this sub assembly with the fuel pump and lines. In the past the fuel filter was installed in line on the bottom of the vehicle, but manufacturers found this to be a weak spot where the fuel lines could leak. Since then most of them have moved it to be in the tank. If You notice that Your engine is not running well and not getting fuel pressure then the fuel filter may be clogged and the assembly may need to be replaced.
