If You're finding that the trailer brakes on Your 2017 Ford F-350 aren't working, You'll first check to see if the fuses are good; the relevant ones to check are the 30 amp fuses in the 27th position and in the number 37 position, in the fuse panel under the hood in the engine compartment. Next, You'll want to verify that You're receiving 12V of power at the pin in the back; if not, it's likely a wiring issue. I'm assuming You've already actually tested the battery. The blue wire is the one that actually facilitates the braking, so focus Your attention on it, and make sure You address this issue before hauling anything in the trailer!

You should find out a few things: the blue wire on our fords is for braking and the white wire is the rim. 1. About the trailer connector under your rear bumper, test the pin voltage for the blue wire with someone applying the brakes for you. 2. Search for consistency if that works out to make sure it can go to the bottom. 3. Check the power supply that goes into the controller under your dash to make sure that when the brake pedal is pressed the blue wire coming out of the controller has voltage.
So I have checked my fuses and the number 37 has no receptacle for One at all. What needs to be installed to allow it?
