There are several reasons that the backup camera would not be working on a 2014 Ford Flex. There have been complaints of a software malfunction that causes the signal from the camera to drop. You have to go into the camera settings and turn the delay, parking aid alert, and the guidelines off. Put vehicle in Reverse to see if the camera comes back on, if it does You can go back into the settings and turn everything back on. This is normally just a temporary fixAs the next time You start the car and put it in reverse it might not work. There may also be a loose connector or bent or corroded tin causing the camera no to work.

After 1 year camera started with lines , upside down, then blacked out. Have it like that for 2 years. Says contact dealer. All 2011 to 1018 models of any ford has raised problem. Took to dealer said no recall it's a luxury. Replied in my contract I paid for " working rear camera" that's breach of contract. It's a wireless Microsoft problem.800.00 to repair. Called Ford company said recall cominglate 2022
