There has been the reports of many issues with the touch screen not working in the GMC Acadia but so far they have not issued any recall to fix this issue. It's more than likely going to the result of a blown fuse. You'll want to change out the fuse which will be located in the interior fuse box. If the touch feature isn't working on the monitor then that is more commonly going to mean that the screen itself has gone bad and will need to be replaced. This can end up being expensive with oem parts ranging from $400 to $800.

The 2020 GMC Acadia touch screen may stop working due to a bad fuse, or needing to be reset

The touch screen comes on then it is intermittent until it goes off for a few minutes before coming back on. Radio is still working part of the time the screen is black.
