The 2017 Honda engine runs on sae 0w-20 full synthetic oil. When performing an oil change on the car You will first want to make sure that the vehicle has been parked and off for a couple of hours. Otherwise, the oil in the car will be very hot and You could burn Yourself. Find the oil pan in the engine compartment and locate the drain plug on the underside. Position a bucket under the plug and then remove it. This will allow the oil to drain into the pan. Let it do this until it stops dripping, which may take an hour or so. After it has finished dripping You can put the drain plug back on, then locate the intake port on the top of the oil pan. Using a funnel fill the oil pan to full, but make sure to not overfill. A little under is fine, but going over can lead to leaks and oil burn off. Once it is full close the port up, wipe up any spilt oil and You will be finished.

This vehicle uses 0w-20 oil. I usually go to Advance Auto or Auto Zone to get the oil and filter (make sure you ask them to assist you with getting the correct filter). Just remember that if you decide to do the oil change yourself, you can use ramps to park your front wheels to give you room beneath the car. Another thing to remember is that there may be a plastic panel covering the bottom side of the engine compartment, and if it's there then you will need to remove the screws to take the panel off to get access to the drain plug and oil filter. Once you drain the oil, put the drain plug back in and tighten it. Take out the filter and throw it away. Put some oil in the new filter and rub some oil over the filter's rubber ring before screwing on the new filter and tighten it with a filter wrench but don't use too much pressure unless you want to badly dent or break the filter. Just only tighten it enough that it won't get loose. Last thing, this vehicle is rated for 3.9 quarts of oil, so make sure you check the oil level indicator on the oil dipstick as you add oil a bit at a time to make sure you don't put too much in there while you're pouring oil into the engine. Once you're done, back the car slowly off the ramp and let it run in idle for a minute or two.....and then you're good to go!
