Restting the oil light on Your 2018 Ford Transit Van will be an easy task for You to do. It will only take around 9 to 12 minutes, at most. The firSTStep You will need to take is to go to the driver's side of Your vehicle, open the door, and get inside. Next, You will need to turn the ignition to position 2. If You don't have a turning ignition, and instead have push start option only, You will need to compress the start/stop button. Hold the button down for 2 to 3 seconds, then push down both the brake and gas pedals simultaneously. Hold this position for a count of 20 to 30 seconds. The oil light should now be reset.

1) Key or button to on position. 2) Depress gas & brake pedals. 3) Hold until oil service indicator begins blinking- about 20 seconds. 4) Release pedals. 5) Start Engine and verify indicator is off.

You start by turning the ignition key to the on position without starting the engine. If you have smart key, then push and hold the star button for two seconds without touching the brake pedal. Simultaneously you will press and hold the brake and gas pedals until a message pops up that says service oil reset in progress. You will continue to press and hold the pedals for about 20-25 seconds until a new message appears. The message will say service oil reset complete. Take your feet off the pedals and turn off the ignition. Start the engine to make sure the oil light has turned off.
