The 2018 Toyota Tacoma oil type and capacity is 0w-20 and 6.2 quarts. Your oil needs to be changed eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If You don't change it, there will be problems with the engine. Having high quality oil is key for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with the oil at some point. A common problem is an awful burning smell. This needs to be inspected as soon as possible or the car might explode. Bad oil can cause the engine to stop working. You could experience terrible gas mileage. Knocking noise may come about from the engine.

Someone wrote not suitable for tall people over 6' 1" I would disagree I own a 2018 trd sport crew cab and have absolutely no complaints about size. I'm 6'4" 295 lbs and have no problems with this pick-up

The 2018 Toyota Tacoma recommends a full synthetic, SAE 0W-20 for the 2018 model. The 2.7L 4-cylinder engine can hold 6.2 quarts of oil. The 3.5L V6 can hold 6.2 quarts for models with a towing package and 6.1 quarts without it.

I agree with Rick. I'm 6`1 - 275 and love the 2018 Tacoma Limited. Our only regret is no power seats because my wife at 5` and 96 lbs needs a lift.

Not sure if this is valuable on here, but I have the '18 Tacoma off road with 70k miles and had it for 4 years and some change. No issues at all so far. Engine still sounds good. Taken it on many gnarly mountain roads in Idaho and traveled cross country twice with it. Also drive in the city often since I live in my truck too. It's been a very reliable truck so far.
