The 2019 Ford Escape oil type and capacity iS5w-20 and 5 quarts. Your oil needs to be replaced eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be issues with the engine. Having high quality oil is important for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with this fluid at some point. Old or bad oil can cause the engine to stop working. A common problem is an awful burning odor. This needs to be viewed closely as soon as possible or the car might explode. You could experience bad gas mileage. Knocking noise may show up from the engine.

The oil type for the 2019 Ford Escape is a full synthetic. The 1.5L 4 -cylinder engine prefers 5W-20 and holds 5 quarts of oil. The 2.0L 4 -cylinder engine uses 5W-30 with an oil capacity of 5.7 quarts. The 2.5L 4 -cylinder engine uses 5W-20 and also holds 5.7 quarts.

The 1.5L does use 5w-20 full synthetic but 5 quarts is wrong. 5 quarts is a miss print shows over full on the dip stick. I called ford. Oil change with filter uses 4.3 quarts. I have an Escape with this engine.
