The 2018 Chevy Traverse doesn't have a spare tire. Making sure Your tires are in the greatest of condition is crucial to not crashing. You will come into problems with this car part at some time or another. Premature tire wear is something You could face. You could run into feathering issues. You could face cupping problems. Make sure to check the tire pressure once a month. Check for holes, in case You run over a pothole. The part may become loose at some point. This part will need to be replaced eventually. You don't want to get into any wrecks on the highway. You should replace Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles.

There is a spare tire and jack with tools located underneath the plastic tray in the rear. You have to remove 4 screws to access this area. No tools needed they are easily removed by hand.

My 2018 Chevy traverse has the spare and jack located inside the car under the plastic storage tray in the rear of the car. Remove the 4 plastic wing nuts and pull the storage tray out to access it.
