Remote start was not a standard feature in the 2019 Toyota RAV4, but was available as an optional upgrade on certain models with the Audio Plus multimedia system. To verify if whether Your RAV4 has remote start, push the lock button on the key fob three times and hold it on the 3rd for about 3 seconds. It the vehicle is equipped with remote start, within about 5 seconds the exterior lights will flash and engine will start, hybrids will take longer before the gasoline engine kicks in. Toyota offers a plug and play remote start kit for around $300, but only on RAV4s with a K as the 10th digit of the VIN and has the smartKey / Push Start system.

In order to have remote start on the 2019 RAV4, it is necessary to purchase the Entune 3.0 premium package and the ability will be via the app on a smart phone. No key fob remote start system.

The only way to get remote start on the 2019 Toyota RAV4 is if you purchase the entune 3.0 Premium package.
The Toyota app won’t let me connect, I’m trying to see if I can have a remote car starter, through my phone. Where I live is wicked cold for me sometimes to go outside and start it.
