Unfortunately, there is no spare tire and the Ioniq does not use run-flats. There is no viable flat tire plan except to be towed if a tire is damaged. Hyundai is not the only automaker guilty of this crime, but that does not make it right. Under the cargo floor is ample room for a spare.

My daughter bought a new 2021 Hyundai Ioniq a few months ago. Tonight she got a flat tire in an unfamiliar neighborhood. A large nail punctured the tire. With no spare tire, there was nothing to be done but call for a tow truck. It took two hours for the truck to arrive. They are taking the Ioniq to the nearest dealer in Houston. We will have to pick her up. This is unacceptable. I have never heard of a car without a spare tire or some way to not be stranded.

What on earth do emissions have to do with being stranded because the car manufacturer was too stupid to understand that flat tires happen to all of us at some point...

My wife had a blow out in another state. I told her I was way to change tire. She called me back and said there is no spare. I was flabbergasted. Hey. Hyundai you think you should do something? Never again will I buy a Hyundai. What’s next no passenger seat. Bad car company

I just got my 2020 Ioniq delivered yesterday. I love it. But I was also surprised mine didn't even come with the fix o flat stuff .

Don' believe any BS that car dealers or manufacturers tell you about no spare tire or jack equipment. The bottom line is, it'sall about increasing the profit margin. They could care less if your stranded with a flat tire in a bad neighborhood !

No the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid does not come with a spare tire unfortunately due to strict emissions.
