If You want to reset the check engine light on Your Chevy Aveo, I can help guide You. All You're going to need is a few minutes and an OBD II scanner tool. What You're going to do first is open Your car door. Put Your key in the ignition and turn it to ON but do not turn the car on. You will then locate the OBD port and inset the OBD II scanner tool. Now, You will follow the instructions on the screen of the scanner to delete the check engine light. After it's done, You should be able to see that the light is clear on the dash.
