To reset the 2008 Ford F-250 anti-theft system You will start the process by pressing the panic button on the key fob, then place Your key into the slot in the ignition and turn it to the on position three times. This should reset the anti-theft device so that it will now be available to start the vehicle properly. Sometimes this can be caused by removing the battery or the battery being drained of power. This could also be caused by the pass lock sensor being faulty and this will cause the anti-system to go off and this will keep the car from starting. There are many different issues that could cause the system to alert and will most likely require some troubleshooting or an OBD diagnostic tool to pinpoint the issue.

What if you don't have a key fob. Then what? This happens every 3 days or so PAT system overtakes the vehicle and it will not start in the morning 4-5 hours later it might
