To reset the airbag light in a Chevy Silverado You need to have the truck diagnosed using a computerized scan tool. There are numerous reasons that would cause the light to illuminate. The scan tool will plug into the OBD-II Port and will let You know where the issues are. There are several sensors on the truck from the front and rear bumpers, seatbelts, and doors. It could be that one of the sensors has failed, an electrical connector is loose or one of the pins are damaged. It can cost between $170 to $190 have a defective sensor replaced, this includes labor costs. Before takeng the Silverado to the shop, check the supplemental restraint system fuses and replace them as needed.

To reset an airbag on a silverado just put the key into the ignition and turn the switch to the on. Watch for the airbag light to turn on. It will stay lit for seven seconds and then shut itself off. After it shuts off, turn the switch off and wait three seconds.
Where is front right sensor located on 2020 Chevrolet Silverado? I was told that sensor is bad, could be connection, no idea where it is located though.
