If You want to change the keyless entry code on Your 2011 Ford Escape it is a pretty easy thing to do as long as You have the factory set code. Usually You can find this code at the end of Your manual, or located above the brake pedal in the driver's footwell. To reset the code You will need to first enter the factory code. Then press the 1-2 button within 5 seconds of entering the factory code. Now You can enter in Your own 5 digit security code. After that press and hold 1-2 fortwo seconds and the new code will be saved to the car and ready for use. Be sure to test it and make sure that it locks and unlocks Your car before You leave Your keys in it.

To reset the entry code on a 2011 ford escape, press the 1 key. Immediately after, enter your new five digit key. Your code should be set.

The original door code must be entered first, this can be found under the center console. You'll have to remove some screws to get it up. It's towards the front, just behind the gear selector.
