First off, make sure that the primary vehicle battery for Your Dodge Ram 1500 is fully charged, and that the batteries in Your key FOBs are as well. Resetting the anti-theft system on this truck is pretty straight-forward. Get into the driver's side seat and close, and then lock all the doors. Then, unlock just the driver's side door, and go ahead and place the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position. Then turn it back on. Do this procedure 3 times. At this point, You should see the immobilizer light stop its rapid blinking, and You'll be able to start Your Dodge.

To reset the alarm on the Dodge Ram 1500 you need to lock all the doors, then unlock the driver side and put the key into the on position. Now turn it off and then back on twice and it will reset.
