The radio in the Hyundai Santa Fe is not something that people have complained about or mentioned any common faults with but there are times when it may fail to function properly. When this happens the first thing to try is simply making sure it is powered on and if so turn the car off and then back on to fully power cycle the unit. If this does not work then You can try checking the fuses in the fuse panel below the driver side of the dashboard. If those are all intact You may want to try resetting the unit completely, just know that You will lose all stored data when You do this. To reset it You will need to locate the power button, then press and hold it for 10 seconds. You will know it worked when the unit powers off and then back on.

None of your methods worked to reset the radio controls on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe so I tried pressing a number of different buttons. This trick worked. Turn the car on but do not start the engine. Hold down the Radio button at the top left hand side and the power knob at the same time. Hold for 10 seconds. This restored all of the controls including the steering wheel controls to full operation.

I have a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe se I reset my radio by changing the radio fuse located in the panel under the steering wheel; I then took off The positive battery post for 20 min before reattaching and then holding the radio power button to get my radio back…. Almost costed me$500 whole time nothing was wrong with my radio system

Arthur-minedid the same thing after a detail. First the back up camera stopped working the the next day the head unit was dead. Fuse good. I have 12v power to the plug (pink wire) and 12v switched to the brown wire. It's not an electrical issue as far as I'm concerned. Ended up ordering a new head unit from the dealership. $700 CDN. Hopefully that fixes it.
