The 2017 Chevy Malibu has SRX inches of ground clearance. Comparing to other cars in its A-Classnd height it should be able to handle normal levels of snowfall moderately well. This is anything less than 3 inches. That said if the snow gets higher than this, or if there is a lot of ice, then the car is not rated to operate well in these conditions. It may do ok, but You are better off using something else if You can. Snow tires are an option to make the experience safer, but they will only get You so far.
