The Hyundai Genesis should be able to last over 200,000 miles with regular maintenance and servicing done. The number one reason that vehicles die is just because they become too expensive to repair compared to the value of the car. When You do regular maintenance, like changing the oil, You are helping Your car last longer because it gives better protection for Your engine and components. Scheduled maintenance is also a great time for a mechanic to get a chance to inspect Your car and make sure that there are no problems. It is always easier and more affordable to repair small problems as they arise compared to letting them develop into big problems that become too expensive to justify fixing.

I own 2009 3.8 v6; I have 206,000 miles. Very fun and roadworthy vehicle. Use the synthetic blend oil every 7,000 miles. I have owned this car for 3 years. It had 125,000 miles when purchased.

I drive a 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 and it still runs like new at over 110,000 miles on the odometer. All features are working as expected which is a surprise for a car nearly 10 years old. I did have the driver side lower leather seat cover replaced after I ripped the leather and it became uncomfortable to sit on. The Hyundai Genesis has been the best car I have ever owned and has an amazing amount of technology built in. Some of the features are not even available on vehicles almost twice the cost in 2012-2015.

I own a 2015 Genesis Coupe RSpec 3.8 with 55,000 miles. To begin with, this car is so much fun to drive! Very quick acceleration, great responsive handling, an exhaust sound box that adds to the driving experience. But, it comes with some caveats. The 6 speed manual trans is notchy, which is a bit annoying. It can be overcome with shifting at around 3000 rpms between 3rd and 5th gears, and disabling the the traction option. The tires are offset, so you really can’t rotate the tires, thus reducing tire life in half. And repair and maintenance is quite expensive. She’s sweet, fun, and great looking, but a date too expensive to continue the relationship! Experience.

My 2013 R-spec sedan has 98xxx miles. I have only changed the oil with fully synthetic every 6-10k miles and the air filter maybe twice. Once I changed the in cabin air filter. I haven't washed the car in a year and got rear ended pretty good once so there has been shop work done to the rear of the car. The condition of the car is as follows. 1. The engine has had a slight tick since I bought it at 30k miles. A neighbor says it's bad but the car runs quietly and smoothly. I personally think it's normal. 2. The washer fluid has never worked since I purchased the car. I tried to get it fixed under warranty years ago but Hyundai told me if they checked it and it wasn't under warranty it would be something like $175 to fix so I never bothered. 3. Very rarely the radio only plays static and I can only get normal sound through bluetooth. This is very rare but can last for a few days. It hasn't happened since maybe a years time. I disconnected the rear subwoofer and added a box and an amp when I purchased the car. So far no speakers have been blown & the sound is great. 4. I just did my first brake job. I only replaced the front pads at almost 99k miles. Other than needing a caliper spreader it was a very easy job. I left the rear alone. 5. After that rear end collision my rear view camera doesn't show sometimes or it blinks so much you can't see anything. I never bothered trying to fix it. 6. The only upholstery problem that I have had is the front arm rest is cracked vinyl now. I had a cover for it that I paid $10 for but the collision people removed it. 7. There are no cracks, tears, or discoloration in the front seats and the padding is still normal to me. I do try to keep the seat covered but mostly not. I weighed maybe 180 when I got the car and have crept up to 260 so... 8. Very rarely it seems as if the windows don't want to work but it's very rare and I'm not sure if it's just me because they always end up working. The sunroof always work. 9. Since the rear end collision moisture get's in the trunk. I had to pull the plug underneath the spare to keep things from mildewing. 10. I hear some minor clunking when I turn during low speeds. It may be a rubber bushing or something. The suspension has no problems that I know of. Large bumps have always been a little uncomfortable in this car. That's all I can think of. It really runs like new to me. No AC/Heater problems or anything. Just regular maintenance and what was mentioned above. I think it will make at least $200k,

I've got a 2011 3.8 genesis at 216k runs great! Only issue is that someone hit my car somewhat recently, and fucked up my front end pretty bad, and caused a transmission fluid leak from the radiator. I was able to fix the line with no real issues, and topped off the fluid as much as I could. I think it's close to the end for my car sadly. I'm going to try to keep life support as long as possible though as cars are insanely expensive in Florida
