A Honda CR-V has an average life expectancy of between 100,000 and 150,000 miles. This is typically an age of 10 years or more. To get the most out of Your vehicle, You will need to remain on top of routine maintenance. This will occur every 6 to 12 months, or every 5,000 to 10,000 miles. You will need to regularly check and change d***y fluid, oil, and clogged or worn filters. You will need to have Your tires rotated, and the tire pressure checked. You will also need to remain on top of components such as spark plugs, and timing belts, if applicable.

I have over 330,000 miles on my 2008 CRV that I bought new. Normal maintenance was done; on time oil changes, brakes and tires, just one battery change. Just recently I replaced the AC compressor, alternator and power steering compressor. All of these items came up with failing bearing noises after 300, 000 miles. One day commute is 112 miles a day. All in all, the CRV has been a great dependable car! I will see how far it goes....

I have a 2000 Honda CRV in Alaska. I bought it for $1,200. It is a PERFECT snow car, and I can fit so much stuff in it for moving, and has great gas mileage. It has 278,000 miles on it, I have replaced the shocks in the front, brakes in back, new all weather tires, regular maintenance. I had to replace the sparkplugs & ignition coil recently, and thankfully have a friend who does all my work for cheap. I put in probably $1,000 in parts/labor so far and have been driving it a little over 2 years. Definitely worth the money compared to what people pay for new cars these days. Engine still runs great. I even had a guy at a shop tell me he's surprised how good it sounds for such an old car with that many miles on it. I love Honda!

My 2008 Honda CRV has 331,000 miles; still going strong. Has had a couple electrical issues. Battery maintenance cleared it up. The CD player has some issues. But I use Bluetooth with my phone, not really an issue. The lock makes an obnoxious noise. I've heard it in other older CRVs.

I have 370,000 miles on my 1999 (manual) Honda CR-V EX I bought new here in MN , original clutch and transmission - well-loved (just a little rust starting to show). My sister bought the same the following month, hers has half as many miles (and looks brand new) as little snow where she lives.

I have a 2016 Honda CR-v with 184,000 miles on it. Runs great and do maintenance like I should. So far I replaced 1 set of shocks, 2 sets of plugs, 1 battery, and a Serpentine Belt. Had my first brake job a few months back. I only use regular gas also and not the ethanol. I believe I could get 300,000 miles or better out of this SUV.

I have a 2017 CRV with 76000 miles. So far it has been terrific! I am a honda guy but I am concerned about the turbo lasting over the 100,000 miles. I think that is why the top answer has if lasting up to 150,000. I had an 04 civic. Sold it with 177,000 miles in 2010….and it is still on the road. No doubt that naturally aspirated engines last forever if taken care of properly. I have had 4 Hondas with no problems but Toyotas have them beat on reliability due it Honda jumping on the Turbo train. Honda’s make the best engines in the world but I wish they would go back to NA engines.

We have over 255k on ours. Replaced the A/C compressor, the pully tensioner, and the power steering line. It does need new struts in the front, but it runs great! The engine and transmission seem like they'll run forever.
