The life expectancy of the Hyundai Tucson is 200,000 miles or about 15 years. Generally speaking, most vehicles will fall into this range of life expectancy, but this is with a couple of assumptions. The first is that proper care has been taken of the vehicle. The owner's manual will have a maintenance schedule for the vehicle. This will detail at what intervals things will need to be replaced or swapped out, such as oil, spark plugs, tires, filters, and fluids. The second is that any check engine light warnings or trouble codes have been addressed as they have come up. If You take the car into the shop once a year for a tune-up and keep up on any extra things that come up then there is no reason the vehicle won't make it to the outer limits of the expected life cycle. If You ignore these things however then You will get half this time, maybe less.

My 2009 Tucson has 218,000 miles. Regular oil changes, routine maintenance, changed belts at 150,000 miles. Has treated me well. I will buy another one when this one is properly tired. ❤

My Tucson 2.4 L from 2013 has already passed the 250,000 miles, and it’s still on the express way at 85 mph.

We have a tucson model 2006 done 110000 km and going strong and looks as good as new. It has been maintained as per the maintenance schedule and by the Hyundai motors own service centre. It should last at least another 5 years.
