With proper maintenance a Mazda CX5 should have no problems lasting over 200,000 miles. Mazda is known for making great engines and transmissions that are capable of going long distances, but the most important thing is to do all the maintenance required on Your vehicle. There's no real secret to making a car last a long time. Changing things like the oil and transmission fluid helps reduce wear and tear on the components and that helps the car last longer. Getting Your vehicle in for service also allows a mechanic to inspect the car regularly. This inspection can let them spot simple small problems before they become bigger and more expensive to fix.

I have a 2014 CX-5 that is still going strong with 117,000+ miles. Still looks good, too, in spite of being stored outside until 6 months ago. We do have it serviced at recommended intervals.

I have a 2013 CX-5 and is at 220,800 miles. It has had a few coils replaced and had proper maintenance done on it and she’s still going! I got it in 2018 with about 177,000 miles.

2016.2 CX-5 here, 100k miles, only costs so far (besides the usual gas & tires &cabin air filter) were to change battery, rear brakes and spark plugs. No issues at all and look forward to another fun 100K!! Will probably flush the brake/transmission fluids next... And also heard from friends that the drive belts sometimes tend to crack on CX-5s (but that's nothing big, 200-250$ costto change them)

2013 Mazda CX-5 at 108,000 miles still running strong despite the rough -40 degree Fahrenheit winters here. I try to do oil changes every 3,000 miles with synthetic. Since I've owned it I've had to park it outside for 6 years. I had a garage for 2 years at one point but not anymore.
