The 2003 Ford Taurus will only have 2 o2 sensors located on the vehicle. One will be upstream from the catalytic converter and the other one will be downstream. Newer models of this vehicle included three total sensors but this year it was only two sensors. If You need to replace one the cost for a single new senor will range between $15 and $25. If You need a new pair for the vehicle the cost will be between $30 and $40. If You're looking to have a professional change out a sensor it will cost about $200 each.

Two, one upstream of the catalytic converter, one downstream. These days, most cars have four.
