Already past 100k miles on Your 2011 Chevrolet Traverse Unless You're experiencing poor performance or other issues, it's best to leave them be until You need to change them. So, I'm assuming You've already bought some new spark plugs. Let's get them installed. First, You're going to want to pop the hood to the engine, using the hood release lever. Now, remove the plastic vanity cover and air cleaner assembly from the top of the engine; make sure to label any hoses so You can put them back where they need to be. Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connector, and take that off the coil. Then, remove the bolt and pull the entire coil and boot assembly out. Now, unscrew the plug, by rotating counter-clockwise. Before installing the new spark plug, if You have a gap gauge, check the gap on it. Install the new spark plug and repeat the previous steps for the remaining ones, until You've swapped them all out.

Remove the engine cover if it has one, then unthread the spark plugs. You can then thread the new ones in and put the cover back on.
