To open the fuel door in a 2018 Ford EcoSport all You have to do is unlock all the doors to Your car. When You get out of Your car to put in gas either press the door unlock button in the cabin, or use the one on Your key fob. Once Your doors are unlocked juSTSimply press in on the fuel door and it will pop open. When it is time to close it just press firmly until You hear a click and then it will be shut. The door locks will also lock the fuel door to prevent people from getting into Your fuel tank while You are away.
