There are several ways to open the rear cargo of a Mercedes E350. Using the remote, press the trunk "unlock" button on the right side of the fob, indicated with a "trunk" symbol. To close, grasp the lever located on the top right side of the lid and depress the hidden switch located there. The boot will automatically latch itseLFAs You push the boot downwards. To open more manually, depress the fob's left button to release all door locks. The hood-latch is included in this operation but will not lift up automatically. Once all door locks have been released, locate the boot's center latch and depress while lifting. Lastly, You may open the driver's door and flip a small switch installed in the frame to engage the boot automatically. Close using the same steps.

If your trunk suddenly will not open, there is a switch in the glove compartment that locks the trunk. If you accidentally hit it, it will lock up and neither the fob or the button on the door will work.

Locked key fob inside trunk.All doors are open trunk button doesn’t work. How can I open the trunk to retrieve my key and fob?
