If the Ford Edge's AC is blowing only on one side of the vehicle, You may need an HVAC module reset. With the doors closed locate the climate control power button on the center dash and depress it simultaneously with the Edge's defrost button. Hold for a few seconds and release. Press the climate control power button one more time and the HVAC should be reset. Disconnecting the battery cables for 15-20 minutes and then reconnecting them can also help re-calibrate many functions of the Edge. However, if the cabin fails to reach temperature or continues to malfunction, the module's actuator may need to be replaced. The cost to replace the Ford Edge's HVAC module's actuator averages $150-$170 in parts and labor.

To reprogram the hvac module in a ford edge you want to press the power button on the climate control and the defrost at the same time.

As it says above you might need to replace the blend door actuator on the side that is not working properly. I had to replace the drivers side one and it is not easy to get to. Passenger side is very easy.... But of course that one was working on our car.... Murphy's laws at work!

I had to press them at exactly the same time to get it to work. It took several tries, but it did finally work. Thank God!
