Hopefully You've fed Your 2015 Toyota RAV4 some synthetic SAE 0W-20 motor oil and given it a new filter, since the point of the maintenance light is to remind You to do that! So, jump in the drive'rs seat and turn the key to the start position, and actually start the vehicle. Hit the button that says DISP until You see TRIP A on the LCD screen for the odometer. Turn off the car. Hold down the DISP button now, using non-dominant hand, because You're going to need to use Your other hand and turn the ignition back on --- but only to the accessory position! Don' t actually start the car! Now, as You continue holding down the DISP button, You should see the LCD blink with a series of dashes that decrease until it shows all zeros. At this point, You can release the DISP button. You can also turn off the car now, and then start it. You should see the Maint Reqd light is now off, and will be, for the next 5000 miles, until it comes back on!

To reset the maintenance light on a 2015 toyota rav4, first turn the ignition to on, then set the odometer to read "odo". Turn ignition to off. Push and hold the trip reset button at the same time turning the ignition back to on.
