If Your rear view mirror is loose on Your Ford F-150 then You can always try to tighten it to see if that helps solve the problem. There is a small plastic panel on the underside of the mirror bracket and if You remove that You will have access to the screw. Turning this screw will tighten the mount. Usually You will wind up with a loose mirror after You have a windshield replacement done on the vehicle. This typically is because the mirror was not properly tightened down when the windshield was reinstalled. Usually a dealership will be willing to tighten the mirror for You as well if You do not have the tools to get to the screw.

If the rearview mirror of your ford f-150 is not secured to the windshield with a set screw, you may be able to make it a tighter fit by tapping it carefully into position on the bracket. Use minimal force so you don't break the glass.
