To turn off the maintenance light on the Toyota Yaris, watch: https://www.Youtube.com/watch?v=QFKtE9992Fs Having high quality oil is important for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with the oil at some point. Bad oil can cause the engine to stop working. A common problem is an awful burning smell. This needs to be inspected as soon as possible or the car might explode. Knocking noise may arise from the engine. You could experience poor gas mileage. Your oil needs to be replaced eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be issues with the engine.

Reset the system by the following procedure: 1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the trip A reading shown. 2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down the knob for at leat 5 seconds. The indication light flashes and the bars displayed in the odometer disappear gradually. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing. "

To turn off the maintenance light on your toyota yaris: turn your ignition key to the 'acc' or 'lock' position. Press and hold the trip meter reset nob (next to your toyota yaris's odometer). While holding the trip meter reset nob, turn the ignition to 'on', but do not start your toyota yaris. Hold the meter reset until the maint reqd light switches off.

Gladly I'll share my poor acknowledge about the Yaris, mine is a very simple model and does NOT have any extras, windows and locks are manuals, just so you know, the way I reset the service light is: 1.open key 2.press and hold reset bottom on ODO while close the key. 3.open key...and here you'll see that you'll should have flashing (-----) instead of the number, as they flash they are desaparing one by one. Keep in mind that this will have to be done like every 5000 mls. Hope this help🤠👍
