There are four ways that the interior lights will come on in the 2020 Ford Expedition. First, open any door, this will turn the courtesy and door lamps on, You can turn this function off by bushing the door light button on the overhead console. Next, if You push any of the buttons on the key fob the interior lights come on. Pushing all lamps on button located on the overhead console. Finally, You can control each light by pushing the button on it, left for off and right for on. You can adjust the ambient lighting brightness by dragging a slider in the settings on the touchscreen display to the left to decrease or right to increase.

I have a 1998 F Exp XLT .. Can't seem to locate a dome switch anywhere. I wanted my interior lights to stay off when opening my doors. Can I install a dome switch or pull a fuse?

If the interior light will not turn on in ford expedition, check the fuses, assuming that there is nothing wrong with the light bulbs.

You can turn off the automatically occurring interior lights by pressing the dash' dimmer switch. Your ford expedition lights come on automatically when the door is opened.
