The Ford Fusion should be equipped with an exterior light control panel located to the left of the steering wheel, below the instrument gauges. The system is operated with an in-dash dial instead of the wheel's control stalk like other Ford models. To turn on the auto feature, move the dial to the far right. The headlights will only engage when it is dark outside and the car senses visibility is low. To switch on the headlights manually, move the knob to the second to last position. Parking lights may be engaged by turning the knob to the second position. To turn all exterior lights off, move the dial to the far left. A green flashing light in the driver's information panel will indicate which lights are in use. To operate the fog lamps, depress the recessed button to the left of the knob.

Sit in the driver's seat of your ford fusion and locate the headlight control knob on the left side of the steering wheel. Turn the headlight control knob clockwise two positions to turn on the headlights.
