Some of the problems with the 2016 Mazda MX5 Miata include minor problems that come along with not takeng care of the vehicle or from just wear over time. These include engine problems, transmission problems, the brake pads going bad, burned out wires, blown fuses or old or bad oil in the system. With proper care of the car You can avoid a lot of these problems. It is important to follow the suggested maintenance schedule that Mazda sets. The most important maintenance that You need to do on the MX5 to avoid engine problems is changing the oil and the filter every 5,000 miles. The oil helps to clean out the engine and keep it running. Some other maintenance stuff You should do at 5,000 miles is rotating the tires, inspecting brake fluid and the coolant.

Most of the problems you will find with the 2016 mazda miata will come from not maintaining the vehicle and can include engine failure, transmission failure, and wear and tear on the brakes. As long as you keep to the vehicles maintenance schedule however there should not be an abundance of issues. Other common issues can include bad brake pads, old oil in the system, or burned out wires. These things should be checked over if buying used.
