The type of antifreeze that should be used in the 2004 INFINITI G35 is any yellow Extended Long Life; 50/50 Pre-Diluted antifreeze. The capacity of fluid for the vehicle is 9.2 quarts for the initial fill. Antifreeze is also known as coolant and it helps to prevent the radiator in cars from freezing or overheating. You'll know when You need antifreeze when the temperature gauge reads hotter than normal, when You see yellow fluid leaking under Your vehicle or You hear a grinding noise coming from the engine. You should change the antifreeze in the G35 every 30,000 miles or every two years. The cost to get a change if going to a mechanic is anywhere from $140 to $180 in labor costs.
