The 2007 Ford Mustang does not have a dipstick for the transmission. This transmission is a sealed one which means that You're not going to be able to check the fluids levels. The type of fluid You're going to need to use for this vehicle is Mercon V. This is the standard type of fluid that Ford uses in it's sports cars and they make their own brand of it via Motorcraft. You should purchase this brand for the best performance. The capacity will be 11.8 US quarts for a full fill up.
