While Mercedes-Benz vehicles are known for being picky with gasoline, they're also known for being very accepting of different oil. In the case of the 2010 GLK350, it's recommended that You use 7.4 quarts of SAE 0W-30 full synthetic, though SAE 0W-40 will work just as well at all temperatures. However, if You live in a warmer climate, You can use much higher viscosities. Above -13 degrees Fahrenheit, it's acceptable to use SAE 5W-30, 5W-40, and 5W-50. At temps above -4 degrees Fahrenheit, You can also use SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, 10W-50, and 10W-60. Increasing the temperature to above 5 degrees Fahrenheit, it's permissible to use SAE 15W-30, 15W-40, and 15W-50. If You're consistently above 23 degrees Fahrenheit, You may also use SAE 20W-40 or 20W-50. Though it's recommended that You stick with SAE 0W-30 over the long term, the other oils are perfectly fine in the specified operating conditions, but no colder.
