The cabin air filter on Your 2012 Chevrolet Suburban is located under the glove box on the passenger side. To get to it, You'll need to remove the screws holding in that plastic panel and then pull it away. You'll immediately see the cover to the cabin air filter housing. Remove that cover next, and You'll be able to access the filters themselves. To remove the first one, just pull straight down. The second one will require You to slide the filter forward, and then pull it straight down as well. To install new ones, just do the reverse of this. O'Reilly's sells a compatible part set from WIX, the WP10428, which retails for around $19 and has good performance and reliability characteristics, as far as cabin air filters go.
