Among the three different engine configurations of the 2013 Cadillac ATS, only one has a serviceable fuel filter; You won't find it on the 2.5L 4Cylinder or the 3.5L 6 cylinder. These integrate the fuel filter as part of the fuel pump assembly, where it is not considered a replaceable part. It's only in the 2.0T 4Cylinder turbocharged engine that You'll find a fuel filter that should be serviced. Here, You'll find an inline canister around the middle of the underside of the vehicle. Please note that if You're attempting to change it, You should always first depressurize the fuel system and remove power from the vehicle. Also remember to wear protective eyewear. Failure to do either of these can result in serious injury.
