In the 2014 Chevrolet Impala, the fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank, as part of the fuel pump assembly. It is not considered a serviceable part; instead, it's integrated into that assembly in a single piece. However, it's also considered a "lifetime" part, meaning that You should never have to replace it. If You're having symptoms which lead You to a fuel filter diagnosis, You may need to look elsewhere. Particularly, You may need to look into an internal engine oil leak if You're getting code P16D0 with Your OBD-II scan tool. This was mentioned in an old technical service bulletin. Otherwise, You may need to look to Your fuel pressure sensor, or Your fuel pump assembly itself -- the '14 Impala's fuel pumps are notorious for failing at a relatively low mileage.
